What data we process

On this site, personal data comes into being only when you write to us. Your browsing is not recorded.

Transfer, tour and wedding car requests

When you fill in the search box and press the WhatsApp button, no record is created on this site; your selections become a ready-made message in your own WhatsApp app, and you are the one who sends it. The data that reaches us is the content of the message you send:

Name and telephone number (these come from your WhatsApp account)
Pick-up and drop-off points, date, time
Number of passengers and, if given, your flight number
The vehicle you selected and any free-text notes you wrote

“Become a Partner” applications

The name, organisation, e-mail, telephone and message you provide in that form are stored in the site's database.

While the service is carried out

Once a journey is scheduled, passenger details are entered into the relevant system as required by law. In this context your name, surname and identity/passport number may be requested. This information is asked for only when the journey is confirmed and only for that purpose.

We do not process special categories of personal data. Health information, biometric data and similar data are neither collected nor stored.

Why we process it

To quote a price for your request and plan your journey
To stay in contact with you during the journey
To meet reporting and retention obligations arising from legislation
To assess job applications and partnership enquiries

Your personal data is not used for marketing, not sold to third parties and not shared for advertising purposes.

Legal basis

Request and contact details: necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract
Passenger identity details: compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller
Application form details: explicit consent, given at the request of the data subject

Who we share it with

Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (U-ETDS)

In road passenger transport, reporting the journey and its passengers is compulsory. Once your journey is scheduled, your passenger details are entered into the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's Electronic Tracking and Monitoring System (U-ETDS). This is not optional; it is an obligation arising from legislation.

The contracted carrier performing the journey

The vehicles are not owned by Ertürk Turizm; your journey is carried out by contracted carriers. So that the journey can take place, your pick-up point, time and contact details are shared with the carrier and the driver concerned.

Service providers

The infrastructure providers used to run the site, and where their servers are:

Vercel Inc. — hosting of the site — outside Türkiye
Neon Inc. — database — outside Türkiye
Resend — panel notifications and password-reset e-mails — outside Türkiye
WhatsApp (Meta) — messaging — outside Türkiye

Transfer abroad. The servers of the providers listed above are located outside Türkiye, so your data is deemed to be transferred abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK. When you choose to write over WhatsApp, your message travels through Meta Platforms' infrastructure and is subject to that platform's own privacy policy.

Apart from these, your personal data is not transferred to any third party.

How it is collected

Data is collected entirely by electronic means, through the forms you fill in and the messages you send. No automated profiling is carried out.

How long it is kept

Request correspondence: at most 3 years after the journey is completed
“Become a Partner” applications: at most 1 year after the assessment is concluded
Records kept under legislation: for the period the relevant legislation requires

Data whose retention period has expired is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the following rights:

To learn whether your personal data is being processed
To request information if it has been processed
To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it has been transferred
To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
To request its erasure or destruction
To request that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to the third parties it was transferred to
To object to an outcome against you produced solely by automated analysis
To claim compensation if you suffer loss because the data was processed unlawfully
